ABOUT
A PIECE OF HOPE : FUN RUN & WALK 2019 is the 3rd installment of our run & walk charity event (the 1st was in 2014 in which attracted 1,000 participants and 2nd was in 2017 with 1,200 participants). This event is an extension of our many successful annual charity fundraising event, A PIECE OF HOPE : MT. KINABALU (visit www.apieceofhope.blogspot.com to find out more).
A PIECE OF HOPE or aptly known as APOH, was conceived in 2007 as a fundraising campaign vehicle during Mt. Kinabalu climbs. In 2017, we did more than Mt. Kinabalu, we held our first ever treasure hunt in a mall (Da Men Mall, Subang) that attracted 600 participants and it was repeated last year at the same venue with equal amount of crowd.
We are expecting approximately 1,200 participants of all ages. Upon finishing the run and walk event, there will be various activities such as lucky draws, stage shows, games and mini charity bazaar. The confirmed NGOs as of writing are Desa Amal Jireh, Persatuan Kanak-Kanak Istimewa Kajang Selangor (PKIK) and Rumah Victory.

A CHILDREN FRIENDLY FUN WALK
Parents are encouraged to bring their children under 12 years old for the WALK as a family event (parents who bring their children in this case undertakes to indemnify the Organizer of all responsibilities on their children participating as per the Waiver Clause stated in the Terms & Conditions). Children under 12 years old does not need to register (also they do not qualify for participants entitlement).
