Carus Sport & Event Sdn Bhd is proud to organize The Batang Sadong Bridge Hybrid Marathon 2021 in celebration of the 5th year anniversary of the opening of The Batang Sadong Bridge. This event is proudly supported by The Ministry of Tourism, Arts & Culture Malaysia.
The Hybrid Marathon will consist of 4 categories which include a full 42km Marathon, a Half Marathon of 21km, and also a 3KM and a 10KM Batang Sadong Fun Run. The dates for the physical part of the event will be 10th - 11th December 2021. There will be a festival held on the 10th of December, while the run will start on the 11th of December 2021 at 2:00am for the flag off for the 42km Category run. For those who are unable to attend Batang Sadong Bridge Hybrid Marathon physically, they will have the option of participating in the race virtually from their location and on their own between the 20th of November - 10th December 2021.

Important Notice:
With Sarawak still being under Phase 3, the Batang Sadong Bridge Hybrid Marathon will be brought forward to the 22nd January 2022. For all those that have registered, your registration will be automatically transferred to the new event date (22 January 2022). We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused, and we thank you for your understanding and continuous support.

- All runners will receive a limited-edition 5th Anniversary Batang Sadong Bridge Hybrid Marathon Race Shirt and Medal.
- Physical runners (42KM and 21KM runners will receive finisher shirt if they complete the race within the cut off time)
- Physical runners will entitle to goodies bags and a lucky draw.

- The cash prize for the 42KM category is RM1,000, RM800, and RM600 whereby the 21KM is RM500, RM400, and RM300 respectively.

Postponement of Batang Sadong Bridge Hybrid Marathon 2021
Dear participants,
Due to ongoing road works that has been delayed and road conditions that are unsafe, it is with utmost regret to inform that the 10KM, 21KM and 42KM categories of the Batang Sadong Bridge Hybrid Marathon 2021 are being postponed until further notice. The safety of our runners is our utmost priority.
However, the 3KM category will be happening on the 26th February 2022 as the Batang Sadong Bridge Fun Run at the none other, Batang Sadong Bridge! If you have registered for the 10km, 21km and 42km for the Batang Sadong Bridge Marathon 2021, you are entitled to run at this fun run for free! You will be able to claim your slots during the race pack collection on the 26th February 2022; 6:00am – 8am at the event venue (Batang Sadong Bridge). Kindly be noted that participants who’ve registered for the 10km, 21km and 42km will still have their respective slots deferred to the new event date.
