Cancellation of Big Bae Run
Big Bae Run has decided to cancel that originally scheduled to be held on 22nd March 2020 at Taman Metropolitan Kepong in Kuala Lumpur.
This is is in view of the public concerns about the COVID-19 and the World Health Organisation's (WHO) announced that they have increased the risk assessment of COVID-19 to the highest level across the world. Ministry of Health (MOH) do also announced on 12th March 2020 that mass gathering is not allowed in this period.
We have made this difficult decision to cancel Big Bae Run after much serious deliberation and has taken into consideration the implications on the safety and health of all those participating the fun run.
Big Bae Run seeks your kind understanding and provide your assistance in considering the race kit pack of the run. All the participants may collect their race kit which include sumo wrestler inflatable suit, medal, wristband, refreshment and water as below:
Date: 21st March 2020
Venue: Padang Layang-layang, Taman Metropolitan Kepong.
Time: 10:30am to 7:00pm
To collect the race kit, please bring the screenshot of the e-ticket which received when registration has been confirmed. The QR code that present on the ticket is to verify the participation. Big Bae Run also need a form of identity via identity card (IC), passport or driving license of participants or the collection of race kit will be failed if the participant unable to provide any form of identity verification. All race kit must be collected at above dates. Participants may send a representative with a copy of IC and ticket (screenshot of both items are acceptable). Participants are allow one of the group members to collect everyone's behalf if participants are purchase in a group, the above requirements shall be followed by the collecting group members.

To all big bae run participants,
Firstly we apologize on any shortcomings from our side, secondly we have to make a different decision due to the changes made by our government on the COVID19 situation. Our management have make a final decision to postpone both our race kit day and event running day.
All our vendors are obligated to change the date for us after the official enforcement from our prime minister, therefore we will be able to bring forward everything that we need for the event with the new date.
We apologize for any confusion caused and we will announce the new date of the event along with the race kit collection date after the COVID-19 situation is under controlled and we have obtain a new appropriate date from the venue.
Once again, we thank you for your support and look forward to see all of our runners soon.
Dear participants,
Due to the latest extension of RMCO announced by our government, our management have decided to convert our event to a virtual run instead.
We understand that this decision might disappoint some of our participants but there is no way on telling how long more the extension of our RMCO would be. Also the event venue owner does not allow us to book any future dates for the event to commence during this unforeseen circumstances. Therefore we do not wish to further delay this situation anymore and had to make a difficult decision to settle this issue.
Each participant must submit a picture of any tracking devices showing the distance of 5km completed run to our email address - [email protected] before the dateline of 29.SEPTEMBER.2020.
Please include your e ticket and your registered information listed there, such as contact number and full address as we will be using those information to mail out the race kits. Do contact us via email or contact JomRun personnel for any changes in the personal information. This must be done before 30 September as all race kits will be delivered out by then.
For those who did not submit the picture of 5km run completion, you will only receive the race kit but without the medal. For those with a completed 5km run, you will receive both race kit and medal.
Once the dateline closes, we will be posting out all race kit items to each participant and our management will be bearing the postage fee for each delivery. Please ensure that the delivery address in your e ticket is correct and do inform us if there is a mistake on the address when you make the registration.
We deeply apologize for any shortcomings in our decision.
