ABOUT
In conjunction with World Environment Day, a group of MBA student from UKM-GSB partnering with Solid Waste Management and Public Cleansing Corporation (SWCorp) Melaka organising a community event called “Jom PLOGGING” on 30th June 2019 at Taman Botanikal, Melaka. The main aim of this event is to raise public awareness that the effort to safeguard and preserve the environment is a shared responsibility.
Plogging, a combination of jogging and the Swedish term “plocka upp,” meaning pick up. The concept is simple. Rather than jogging on by the garbage littered on the street, ploggers pick it up and dispose of it correctly instead. If you want to get fit while caring for the environment, this new fitness trend may be just the activity for you. Participants will also have the chance to visit green booth exhibition by selected government agencies.
